Obituary for Peggy Livingston Conyer

Peggy Livingston Conyer, age 85, of Paducah, KY passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at home.

Peggy was born in Paducah, KY on September 12, 1933 and was a lifelong resident of Paducah. She graduated from Augusta Tighlman High School and Murray State University. She taught at Jetton Junior High and coached track and basketball. She was a member of the Paducah Country Club Volvo tennis team in 1987 that won the National Volvo Championship.

Mrs. Livingston is survived by her husband, Bill Conyer; one son, Dr. William Conyer (Barbara) of Paducah; one brother, Milton M. Livingston, Jr. (Barbara) of Paducah; six granddaughters, Angela Townsend (Peter), Christiana Perry (Adam), Elizabeth Long (Daniel), Catherine Gallagher, Conyer Livingston Clayton, and Margaret Page Packer(James); and four great-grandsons and two great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton M. Livingston and Alene Fleming Livingston, and her daughter, Sharon Conyer.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donation to: Lourdes Hospice, P.O. Box 1700, Paducah, KY 42002-7100.

At her request, there will be no public visitation. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
